Day 1 of Commemoration of 350th Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at Mattan Sahib, Anantnag, UT of J&K
By The day -1 was started with Inauguration of the Exhibition– Dedicated to life, teachings & legacy of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, which will be showcased till June 30, 2026. This exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Brij Mohan Sharma, Principal Secretary, Department of Culture, Government of Jammu & Kashmir as a chief guest, other dignitaries and prominent sikh personalities were also present.
After that Seminar on the Life and teaching of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was delivered by the Scholars Sh. Ajit Singh Mastana from Kashmir; Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn from Jammu; Dr. Harsimran Singh from Jammu; Sh. Navtej Singh from Kashmir; Sh. Satish Vimal from Kashmir followed by the Dhadi Gayan by Bhai Gursevak Ji & group from Punjab. Being a unique programme of this type, it was appreciated by one and all. People from all walks of life from the surrounding areas including school children from Khalsa high school, Hutmara and Govt higher secondary school, Mattan attended the programme.
