Thousands of Mela lovers from the city and its neighboring states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh continue to throng the ongoing Chandigarh National Crafts Mela at Kalagram here on the 5th day of the season.
A joint initiative of the North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Chandigarh Administration, Mela lovers continued to throng the venue in their thousands. This is the 9th edition of the annual feature being held by the NZCC since 2009. This year’s theme being Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the event holds a special significance this season.
Bombay Beats, a renowned Bollywood musical band from Ajmer, led by Clifford, regaled the audience for two hours in evening session of the crafts mela.
