Celebration of International Day of Yoga on today June 21, 2021 at Sheesh Mahal, Patiala
North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala (Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India) organized the ‘7th International Day of Yoga’, christened “Yoga An Indian Heritage” on 21 June, 2021 from 07.00 am onwards at Sheesh Mahal, Patiala as a part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” campaign. As per the guidelines of Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, this event was to be conducted at 75 Cultural heritage locations and Shesh Mahal, Patiala is one of them..
The yoga session was conducted by yog guru Sh. Ashok Rana, a renowned yoga Instructor from Patiala. The yoga session was followed by mesmerizing cultural performances of folk instruments and Bhangra dance performance by Sh. Gurdarshan Singh and his group from Patiala.
